Emily Giese — University of Wisconsin–Parkside

Rush Wisconsin Southeast is proud to recognize Emily Giese as part of our growing list of players who have continued their soccer careers at the collegiate level. Emily, now a freshman defender at the University of Wisconsin–Parkside, represents the dedication, work ethic, and passion for the game that define the Rush player pathway.

A Kenosha native and graduate of Tremper High School, Emily developed into one of the area’s most reliable defenders during her high school career. Known for her strong defensive presence, composure on the ball, and leadership on the field, she earned First Team All-Conference honors three times and was also named Defensive MVP three times throughout her high school career. Her consistent performances made her a key part of Tremper’s defensive unit and a respected competitor in the Southeastern Conference.

Emily’s development continued through her years playing club soccer in the Rush environment, where she refined the technical, tactical, and mental aspects of her game while competing at a high level. Her commitment to improvement and team-first mentality helped prepare her for the next step in her soccer journey.

Now competing at the NCAA Division II level with the Wisconsin–Parkside Rangers, Emily has already begun making an impact as a freshman. Standing 6 feet tall, she brings physical presence, aerial ability, and defensive intelligence to the Rangers’ back line. Early in her collegiate career, she scored her first career goal in a 1–0 victory over Davenport, helping secure an important conference win for Parkside.

Rush Wisconsin Southeast takes great pride in supporting players as they pursue opportunities beyond youth soccer. Emily’s journey from Kenosha youth soccer to the collegiate game reflects the values of hard work, perseverance, and commitment to development.

We are excited to continue following Emily’s success at Parkside and look forward to seeing what the future holds for her both on and off the field.

Congratulations, Emily — Rush is proud of you!
