Ava Rizzitano — University of Wisconsin–Parkside

Rush Wisconsin Southeast is proud to recognize Ava Rizzitano, who has continued her soccer career at University of Wisconsin–Parkside, competing for the Rangers women’s soccer program at the NCAA Division II level. Ava’s journey from the Rush system to collegiate soccer reflects the work ethic, competitive drive, and attacking mentality that define the Rush player pathway.

A Kenosha native and graduate of St. Joseph Catholic Academy, Ava developed into one of the area’s most dynamic attacking players. During her high school career, she led her team in goals, assists, and total points as a senior, while earning All-Kenosha County honors and Team MVP recognition. Her ability to create chances, attack defenders, and impact games offensively helped prepare her for the next level of competition.

Collegiate Career Highlights

Since arriving at Parkside, Ava has quickly developed into a key attacking player for the Rangers.

2025 Season (Sophomore)

  • Appeared in 16 matches, starting 15
  • Logged 992 minutes
  • Recorded 5 goals and 3 assists for 13 points
  • Tied for the team lead in goals
  • Two game-winning goals
  • 43 shots, the third most in the GLIAC
  • 16 shots on goal
  • Scored a dramatic last-second game-winner against No. 2 Grand Valley State to secure a historic 1-0 victory for Parkside.

2024 Season (Freshman)

  • Appeared in all 19 matches, starting 15
  • Logged 1,000+ minutes
  • Recorded 2 goals and 1 assist
  • Scored her first collegiate goal against Lewis University.

Through her first two collegiate seasons, Ava has already established herself as one of Parkside’s most dangerous attacking threats:

Her performances also earned her GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week honors during the 2025 season after a standout weekend where she recorded multiple goals and assists.
